American Society for Engineering Education Annual Conference and Exposition in Columbus

American Society for Engineering Education’s Annual Conference is happening this week at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. The conference features drones, robotics competition, virtual reality & living wall. Plus, high-mileage cars made by students at Cedarville University.
The American Society for Engineering Education is a 12,000-member organization based in Washington, D.C. This is their 124th Annual conference, but the first in central Ohio in the last thirty years. Organizers say that it’s the only conference dedicated to all disciplines of engineering education
On June 26th, National Student STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics) winners received their first Global Innovation Award. Two of the awardees are local: Ashton Cofer from Columbus Academy and Julie Bray from Gahanna Lincoln High School.
