Made Local: Edwin Loy Home and Uptown Deli & Brew

Amy and Tony Cabilovski met at Uptown Deli and Brew just before a Westerville Merchant’s Association meeting three years ago.

Amy, a Westerville native and graduate of Otterbein University, is the owner of Edwin Loy Home, a home decor and home accessories store on State Street in Westerville.

Tony is a Central Ohio native who attended Ohio State University and Franklin University. He’s been in the restaurant industry for 25 years and owns Uptown Deli and Brew, home of Temperance Brew right across the street.

Westerville has a long history of prohibition so Tony says he wanted to acknowledge that history in the space by putting the deli up front and the brewery in the back.

Their Delaware business is Stone & Sparrow Apparel men’s and women’s clothing boutique plus another Edwin Loy Home.

Edwin Loy Home is an official stockist of Chalk Paint by Annie Sloan. Both Amy and Tony hand paint the furniture themselves and Amy teaches Chalk Paint Workshops at the store.
