Sleepy Smoothies

Alexis Joseph with Alchemy Juice Bar + Cafe shared two delicious smoothie recipes that may help you sleep better.


Turmeric Sleep Smoothie

• 1 bottle Alchemy’s turmeric cashew mylk

• 1 large peeled, sliced, and frozen banana

• ¼ tsp turmeric

• ½ tsp cinnamon

OR (if you don’t have pre-bottled turmeric mylk)

• 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk

• 1 tbsp almond or cashew butter

• ½ tsp turmeric

• Pinch black pepper

• 1 large peeled, sliced, and frozen banana

• ½ tsp cinnamon

1. Place in a high speed blender and blend until smooth and creamy.


Cherry Bedtime Smoothie

• 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk

• 1 large peeled, sliced, and frozen banana

• ½ cup frozen cherries

• ½ cup spinach

• ¼ an avocado

• 1/4 tsp cinnamon

• Splash of honey, pure maple syrup, or a date to sweeten

1. Place in a high speed blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
