Mashita Bacon Broth10-15

1 lb bacon
Bones from one roasted chicken
2 medium onions quartered
5 large carrots cut into 2 inch chunks
1 bunch green onions cut into 2 inch pieces
2 Tbsp whole allspice
2 Tbsp whole black peppercorns
2 bay leaves
1 - 8x8 inch piece of kombu (dried seaweed)
1 Tbsp white pepper
2 gallons water
Salt to taste

Add all ingredients except salt to a large stock pot and bring to a simmer. Turn heat to low-medium and cover with a lid for 4-6 hours. Season with salt to your liking. Strain and chill. Freeze portions for later use if needed.
