Flash Flood Watch in Effect, Western and Central Ohio

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH is in effect for Western and Central Ohio because some of today’s storms could produce locally-heavy rain and cause some quick flooding. These storms have also produced high winds, hail, and a few tornado warnings. Central and Eastern Ohio are included in the “Slight Risk” category for severe weather today. The cold front pushing all those storms will move east of the area later today and we’ll begin to dry out tomorrow.

Lightning strikes just behind ABC6/FOX28's James Jackson and Photog Drew Yaussy as they reported live from downtown Hilliard Monday evening.

The strike lit up a large tree just off Scioto-Darby Road as the peak of storm rolled through town, pouring heavy rain and packing strong winds.
