GAHANNA (Mike McCarty/Sean Rowe) -- Downed trees buried a home and blocked roads in Gahanna early Tuesday morning. This, after a round of powerful storms hit Central Ohio less than 24 hours ago.

Strong winds toppled a large tree that fell on a house in the 500 block of Uxbridge Avenue.

No one was hurt, ABC6/FOX28's Mike McCarthy reports.

Tree limbs and other debris littered several other yards throughout the neighborhood.

Also, early Tuesday, downed trees and power lines closed Clotts Road from East Johnstown Road to Deer Run Drive.

As of 5:30 a.m., the Gahanna Police Department was on scene awaiting the arrival of AEP Ohio crews, according to dispatchers. Storms Tear Down Trees Onto Homes, Roads in Gahanna
