Officer takes care of dogs found wandering busy street

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) -- A Columbus police officer is being commended for rescuing a couple of dogs found wandering down a busy street in southeast Columbus on Wednesday.

A woman wrote a letter of appreciation to the Columbus Division of Police about Sgt. Ralph Guglielmi. The Sergeant caught the two dogs and got them out of harm's way before calling Animal Control to pick them up.

The woman not only thanked him for what he did, but was pleased with the amount of passion and compassion he exhibited for his job.
