SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WSYX/WTTE) -- Four overdose victims were saved by a 12-year-old girl after she called 9-1-1 when she spotted them unresponsive in a Massachusetts home early Sunday morning.

Springfield Police Lt. David Kane told WWLP-TV the women had apparently overdosed on heroin where all of them were revived with Naloxone before being taken to the hospital. Two of the women were unconscious.

Investigators said all four women had gone out before coming home and overdosing. At the time, three-to-four children were alone at the home playing video games in one of the upstairs bedrooms.

Detectives said they found drug paraphernalia and evidence taken to test the heroin.

Police notified the Department of Children and Families. No criminal charges have been issued.
