Autopsy reports released in Kirkersville shooting
NEWARK, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) -- The Licking County Coroner's Office released the preliminary autopsy reports for the four people killed in Kirkersville on Friday.
Kirkersville Police Chief StevenDiSario, 38, was killed by a single shotgun wound as he exited his car.
Marlina Medrano, 46, died from multiple gunshot wounds, from both a shotgun and handgun, in the Pine Kirk Care Center nursing office.
Cindy Krantz, 48, died in the hallway from a single shotgun wound, which the coroner said was fired at close range.
Alleged shooter Thomas Hartless, 43, died in the nursing office from a single, shotgun wound to the head.
The first three deaths were ruled as a homicide. Hartless' death was ruled as a suicide.
Toxicology results, to determine whether drugs or alcohol were in anyone's system, won't be released for approximately 8-10 weeks.
