Victim identified in fatal Marion motorcycle crash
MARION, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) —
A 20-year-old Marion man was killed shortly before 5 a.m. Thursday morning when he lost control of a motorcycle at the intersection of Ohio 203 and Ohio 95, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.
Jacob Cannon's motorcycle flipped on 203 and went through the intersection with 95 in Marion County.
The highway patrol said a preliminary evaluation of evidence from the scene looks like Cannon may have been hit by another vehicle after his initial crash. They do not yet know what might have hit Cannon after he lost control of his bike.
The crash is still being investigated. Any witnesses or people with more information are asked to contact the Marion highway patrol post at (740) 383-2181.
