An exciting sight has landed in Columbus. And if you're not looking, you may miss it.

A family of eagles has taken up residency in a tree near the river just off Dublin Road before you get to the main post office as you're heading into downtown.

"They're amazing," said Joanne Miller.

She started watching the eagles first build their nest back in January and now there are babies. The number varies, some bird enthusiast say there's just one, some say they've seen up to three.

Arnie Berger watches as the eagles feed their young.

"He'll get them fish. He's brought in a rabbit. He's brought in a duck, a squirrel. They eat a varied diet, " Berger laughs.

Bird watching enthusiast want to remind others if they want to come out to see the eagles to be respectful.

"Just don't do anything to disturb the eagles, " said Miller.

She says be safe, don't go down by the river and be respectful of the others who are also watching these majestic creatures.
