A burglar managed to get electronics and two pairs of high-priced sneakers from an east Columbus home, but left behind an important clue: his cell phone.

Columbus Police say the victim returned to her East Mound Street apartment on the evening of April 20th and found it ransacked. She told them she heard a noise in her bedroom, then saw the suspect standing next to her window.

The victim says she maced the suspect, and he jumped out of the window and ran off. In making his escape, he dropped his cell phone at the apartment.

Police are now asking for help identifying the man who can be seen in a picture from the phone, which the victim said was the man she saw. The burglar stole two pairs of Jordan Retro High Gold shoes valued at $280, an Xbox 360, and an Apple iPhone.
