Neighbors relieved with arrest in Rachael Anderson murder case
Neighbors at the apartment complex where a 24-year-old woman was found dead two weeks ago are relieved that police have arrested a suspect.
Anthony Pardon is charged with one count of aggravated murder in the death of Rachael Anderson. Anderon was found asphyxiated in a closet in her apartment after co-workers called police when she didn't show up to work. Neighbors of the apartment complex on Allegheny Ave said they had been on edge while police hunted the killer.
One neighbor, Rannetta Robinson said she's glad someone has been arrested because the uncertainty had her questioning where she lives.
"I was thinking of moving because it really had me in fear," she said.
Robinson didn't know Anderson but recognized her from the complex. She said she hoped Anderson's family can get closure.
"I'm glad for her family," Robinson said.
