Panera Bread hiring 200 delivery drivers in Columbus
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) — Panera Bread is generating 200 new jobs in Columbus with as they expand small- delivery service in the area, according to Covelli Enterprises (the Ohio-based franchise of Panera).
The company originally launched program in the Dayton area last year and began implementing in Columbus in August.
They plan on having delivery available throughout the city by the end of March.
Covelli Enterprises will add up to 16 Delivery Team Members at each delivery location, according to a press release. Anyone interested is encouraged to apply online or in-store.
Hiring begins Monday, January 23 through March.
Panera Bread promises delivery within a designated 8-minute delivery radius from the café.
Each delivery requires a $5.00 minimum order and comes with a $3.00 delivery charge. All delivery orders are currently placed online using the Panera Bread app or at Panera's website.
Hours of delivery service are set for 11:00 am – 8:00 pm., where the first order can be placed at 10:30 am and the last at 7:30 pm.
