Plane called back to John Glenn International
COLUMBUS (WSYX/WTTE) —
A Southwest Airlines flight headed to Fort Lauderdale, Florida was called back to John Glenn International Airport after tire remnants were left on the runway after the flight took off.
The plane, carrying 179 passengers, was asked to return out of caution. Planes have double tires, but the extra remnants caused the plane to be recalled.
It landed safely.
