The Ohio State Highway Patrol has released a dash cam video of troopers responding to a father's heroin overdose at a Miami County rest stop.

The incident happened Jan. 7 at a rest stop off Interstate 75. Troopers found two people in a car, one of whom wasn't responding. The troopers quickly decided the man was suffering from a heroin overdose and gave him two doses of Nalaxone.

Once an ambulance arrived, the man was alert and could talk.

Troopers later identified his 2-year-old daughter, who was at the rest area while her father was being helped.
