Suspected drug carrier busted with heroin, fentanyl during traffic stop
COLUMBUS, Ohio —
Police said they busted a driver transporting 50 pounds of heroin, cocaine and fentanyl through the city.
Tuesday, prosecutors asked a municipal court judge that he not set any bail in this next major drug case.
Boos Corona-Aguilar, 21, was charged with two felony counts of possession of drugs. Columbus Police freeway patrol stopped him Monday afternoon after they said he failed to signal while entering the ramp from Georgesville Road to I-270. Court documents indicate Corona-Aguilar was driving a 2010 Honda Accord which is registered to an area carpet cleaning company.
In court, the public defender for Corona-Aguilar asked for the case be continued until Wednesday. The judge granted that motion which means Corona-Aguilar will stay locked up until then.
