Woman found dead in Linden area home on Christmas day; marks city's 140th homicide
COLUMBUS, Ohio —
Columbus police are investigating a homicide that happened on Christmas day in the Linden area.
According to a press release from the Columbus Division of Police, officers were called out to the 1200 block of Sigsbee Avenue on the report of an unresponsive woman inside the home.
Paramedics pronounced 57-year-old Rose Douthitt dead at the scene.
Douthitt's body was taken to the Coroner's Office, were they confirmed the injuries were consistent with her being murdered.
Police have no suspect at this time or motives.
