AP Exclusive Interview with Casey Anthony

Casey Anthony is speaking out about her daughter's death for the first time.

She has taken no responsibility for Caylee's death and claims she does not know what happened. In 2011, Casey was acquitted on charges that included 1st degree murder. She was only found guilty of lying to police.

Now in a series of exclusive interviews with the Associated Press, Anthony said she's aware that many people believes she's guilty despite her acquittal.

She said the last time she saw 2-year-old Caylee she "believed that she was alive and that she was going to be OK."

Anthony waited a month to report her daughter missing and she reportedly spent much of that month partying with friends. She also admitted to repeatedly lying to police.

Casey Anthony's mother ultimately called 911 when she said she hadn't seen her granddaughter in a month and smelled something "rotten" coming from the trunk of Anthony's car.

Within the past month, the former judge who presided at the trial theorized that Anthony may have killed her daughter when she reportedly used chloroform to calm her.

Anthony claims that she was sleeping when her daughter vanished and that she had no clue about what happened to her. She also said she doesn't care if people think she is guilty.

"I don't give a sh*t about what anybody thinks about me, I don't care about that. I never will. I'm OK with myself. I sleep pretty good at night."

Anthony said her father was the last person to see Caylee alive.

There has also been speculation that Caylee had drowned and that her body was hid to cover it up, but Anthony said she doesn't have any knowledge of that.
