MADISON TWP. (Lisa Rantala/Ken Hines) -- Five teens are accused of skipping school to break into, and then out of, a central Ohio home.
Kerlin Muzea told ABC 6/FOX 28 he returned to his Wendover Dr. home on May 17 to find a teen standing outside holding Muzea's laptop.
Muzea chased the teen, who dropped the laptop as he fled. Muzea's victory was short-lived, however, as four additional teens who were inside his home shattered glass doors to exit the residence.
Police were quickly able to apprehend one of the suspects, who then identified his accomplices, according to investigators.
One of the suspects, Umariyo Bowens, a senior at Urban Academy, was charged with multiple felonies. He appeared in court Friday, where he was issued a $10,000 bail amount.
Mueza has requested that the suspects be held responsible for $2000 in damage done to his glass doors.
