Madison Co. Home Invasion Suspect Caught in Oregon

Updated: Friday, August 2 2013, 11:42 PM EDT
MADISON COUNTY (Carol Luper/Ken Hines) -- A man suspected of participating in a violent central Ohio home invasion was arrested Thursday morning after fleeing to Oregon.

Zachary Davis was taken into custody in Salem on an unknown charge. Davis was identified Tuesday as a suspect in the beating and robbery of a Lake Choctaw homeowner in April.

Investigators believe Davis, 23, and two unidentified accomplices beat Alan Homewood inside his house with two handguns and an aluminum baseball bat before leaving with stolen cash and jewelry.

Deputies released a photo of Davis on Tuesday, after he was identified as a suspect. Investigators told ABC 6/FOX 28 they have some ideas about the identities of Davis's alleged accomplices, but are not ready to release any names.Madison Co. Home Invasion Suspect Caught in Oregon
