COLUMBUS -- It’s been nearly six years since Rita Harrington saw her son Dante Hill, who was murdered two weeks before Christmas in 2007.
“He was my everything,” said Rita, “This is the first year; I’ve been able to smile, while wondering who tried to kill my baby.”
Dante was shot in front of a friend’s home on East 26th Street.
Police say after the shooting his girlfriend drove Dante to Denune Avenue and then called 911.
Dante died at the scene in the back of his vehicle.
Columbus Police continue to search for suspects; the only thing missing was a gold cross that Dante wore around his neck.
“If you know something about my son’s murder, or anybody’s murder, you are just as guilty as the person who did it,” said Rita.
Anyone with information is asked to call Columbus Police at 614-645-4545.
