911 Outage Affects Several Counties

Updated: Thursday, March 28 2013, 07:43 PM EDT
COLUMBUS -- 911 services were interrupted in several Ohio counties on Thursday.

A Frontier Communications spokesperson says an electrical problem caused the outages, which are affecting Delaware, Marion, Guernsey, and Noble Counties, as well as New Concord in Muskingum County.

Services were expected to be restored by Thursday night.

While 911 services are down, Delaware residents are advised to call 740-833-2176 in the event of an emergency.
