Brothers Accused of Burglarizing Eastside Home

EAST COLUMBUS—Two brothers have been charged after they allegedly forced their way into an East Columbus home and tried to take thousands in valuables.
Samuel and Tyler Meek were arrested Friday just before 1:00 PM. Police said they broke into a home in the 4000 block of Brewster Drive. A witness told police the duo tried to take televisions, laptops and thousands in cash. Both were charged with burglary and grand theft. They were each given $400,000 cash surety bonds.
