Duo Accused of Stealing Sneakers Charged

EAST COLUMBUS—Two men have been charged after they allegedly broke into an apartment Friday morning.
The tenant told ABC 6/ FOX 28 that the two tried to take his electronics and designer Jordan sneakers and that his unit was broken into Monday as well. The owner said he owns at least 40 pairs of the designer shoes.
Antonio Blount-Sears and Rodney James Oliver were arrested Friday morning around 8:45 when they tried to flee the scene. A neighbor called 911 when he heard someone breaking into a nearby unit. Blount-Sears and Oliver were both charged with burglary. They were given $300,000 cash surety bonds each.
