PICKAWAY COUNTY (Tara Morgan) -- A man is in jail accused of driving drunk when he hit two teens then drove off.
A 15 year old boy was critically injured in the hit and skip case out of Pickaway County.
This happened just after 8 P.M. Thursday night on Era Road just off U.S. 62 near Mt. Sterling.
Investigators say the boys were walking on the grass near the pavement when Jack Tirey of Grove City ran his GMC truck partially off the road and hit the two teens.
Madison county deputies stopped Tirey a couple miles away.
The 15 year old was taken to Nationwide Children's hospital.
His father says his son has a broken pelvis and concussion.
The boy's 17 year old friend was treated on scene but his dad later took him to the hospital after more injuries popped up.
Along with a DUI charge, Tirey is facing aggravated vehicular assault and leaving the scene charges.
