Gunfire Strikes Family's House
Updated: Monday, February 25 2013, 11:25 PM EST
COLUMBUS -- Investigators are searching for whoever opened fire on a house, narrowly missing the family inside.
It happened at around 7:30 p.m. on the 800 block of E. Mithoff St.
Police don't have a lot of information about what happened or who did it, but have been questioning those who were inside the house and neighbors.
Detectives say someone shot at least three bullets through one of the family's windows, but at this point, they don't have a description of the person who did it.
One woman living inside the house tells us that the bullets went through the walls inside the house and one of them came close to hitting her daughter. She says she has lived here for 12 years and never had any trouble.
If you know anything about what happened, you're asked to call Columbus Police at 614-645-4545.
