NEWARK -- A Newark High School student attacks a classmate and it's all caught on camera.
The video shows a student walk into what appears to be the cafeteria. Out of nowhere, the student begins to throw wild punches.
"I was astound," said Rhonda Shaner, the mother of the boy attacked in the video. "He's sitting there eating his lunch and he gets attacked and then there's other kids standing there video recording him being attacked."
The victim in the video said the boy that attacked him used to be one of his friends. He said they had a falling out after the alleged attacker got in trouble and thought the victim tattled on him.
"I'm scared to send my kid back to school now," Shaner said.
So far we have not been able to get a hold of any Newark Public Schools officials.
Shaner said she's filed charges against the student in the video.
