COLUMBUS -- Eddie Rhodes, 47, died of a heart attack Tuesday morning. His fiance, Olga Saulsberry came home Friday afternoon from his funeral to find their home was ransacked and many of Eddie's personal items were stolen.
"I thought, this is wrong," Saulsberry said.
Her kitchen window was smashed and the back-door was left open. Her fiance's laptop, credit cards, and a fireproof safe were all stolen.
"That's ridiculous," Eddie's daughter, Amara said. "Just bring [his things] back, just bring it back."
For them, the crime added to the pain of losing a loved one. Saulsberry says she has just one memory of him left: his picture on a funeral program.
If you have any information on this crime, call Columbus Police.
