Licking County House Fire

NEWARK -- Firefighters battled a house fire just west of the city Friday night.
According to the Licking County 911 Center, the fire started at around 7:30 p.m. on the 1800 block of Cherry Valley Rd.
It wasn't immediately known if anyone was inside when the fire started or if anyone was hurt.
The cause of the fire isn't known.
As new information is released, we will update this story.
