Neighbors Help Neighbors Dig Out

UPPER ARLINGTON -- Neighbors are lending neighbors a helping hand shoveling snow from sidewalks and driveways.
16 year old Spencer Pinnick says he mows the lawn for his neighbor in the summer but thought instead of spending his day off from school indoors he'd grab a shovel and get to work.
"It gets me in shape and then it makes me feel good," said Pinnick.
ABC6 also caught up with Giuseppe Pandolfi who isn't used to the snow being from Puerto Rico.
But Pandolfi says he saw his elderly neighbor needed help getting out of her driveway.
"Neighbors are always family to me," said Pandolfi.
His 74 year old neighbor, Mary Walker, returned the favor by making Pandolfi lunch.
"He's a doll he just came over this morning and said I'm going to clean your driveway," said Walker.
Pandolfi had planned to dig out his sister's driveway and sidewalk next.
Pinnick said he was going to rest his arms and back after all that work.
