COLUMBUS -- Detectives are piecing together what led up to a double shooting involving a man, his wife and her boyfriend.
Gun shots rang out about 4:40 P.M. Tuesday outside a Mormon temple on Gateway Boulevard on the city's west side.
Police say 65 year old Sokka Chant who was in one car confronted his wife, 33 year old Soth Sin and her boyfriend, Neng Sith, in another car.
As the fight heated up, Sith ran off and wasn't hurt.
But police say the Chant hopped into his wife's car and shot her then tried to take his own life.
Chant is in critical condition at Riverside hospital.
Sin is also being treated for a critical wound at Mt. Carmel West.
Sith was detained for questioning but isn't a suspect.
Police say there is prior domestic violence between Sin and Chant.
No charges have been filed.
