COLUMBUS -- Investigators say they have a person of interest in the city's 14th homicide. Neighbors say it's a man who may have been living with Robert Daley, 52, of Mansfield before his family found him dead in a nor Columbus apartment.
Detectives however, are not releasing the name or a description of this person of interest at this time.
Police say Daley was found shot in the head in an upstairs bedroom of his Columbus apartment. According to detectives, Daley was living in the apartment to be close to work where he was a manager at a nearby KFC restaurant.
Neighbors say he used to live with the man who is now the person of interest in this murder case.
"I saw the friend put something in (Daley's) car then he went back into the house," one neighbor said.
That neighbor told ABC 6 and FOX 28 she last saw Daley's silver 2009 Toyota Camry a week ago. Police believe Daley's killer may have taken off with the vehicle.
Neighbors say this person of interest stopped staying at the apartment in January.
