BROWN TOWNSHIP -- After recent break-ins in the Brown Township area, neighbors there are fighting back.
The community has started a neighborhood watch program. And they've taken further steps to keep their family and homes safe.
Interim Brown Township Trustee, Joe Martin says about a dozen families now have surveillance cameras posted around their homes.
"The camera capture any movement around the house," Martin says.
"It's easy to use and many cameras are not that expensive."
Martin says deputies have use the video and pictures in their investigation of the break-ins.
"In one case, they were able to take some good pictures which lead to an arrest."
