Serious Accident Sends Three To The Hospital

SOUTH EAST COLUMBUS - The northbound lanes of Interstate I-270 south of U.S. Route 33 opened before 4 p.m. Sunday after a serious injury accident forced the area to be shutdown.
Witnesses told police a mini van was traveling at a high rate of speed when it lost control and struck a utility pole.
Medics transported two patients to Grant Hospital and a third patient to Nationwide Childrens Hospital.
All three patients were initially transported in critical condition.
No condition updates have been given at this time.
