SPECIAL REPORT: Life-Saving Surgery For Death Row?

COLUMBUS -- In 1999, a cold-blood killer rocked Belmont County.
His
name is Nawaz Ahmed. The weekend before his divorce was to be
finalized, the Pakistani man brutally murdered four people including his
estranged wife, her sister, father and two-year-old niece.
Court records show Ahmed ambushed the family at his estranged wife’s home.
He bashed in their skulls, and slits their throats.
Detectives who worked the case tell ABC 6 Investigator Tom Sussi the crime scene was nothing short of hell.
Nawaz was convicted in 2002, and sentenced to death.
Ironically,
this death row inmate recently received a very expensive life-saving
operation at OSU’s Ross Heart Hospital. Your tax dollars paid for it.
To date, no execution date has been set.
