Spring Winter Weather & Snow

Updated: Monday, March 25 2013, 09:08 AM EDT
COLUMBUS -- About 3.5 inches of snow fell overnight in Central Ohio.

Some areas saw different amounts but this "spring" snow storm hit all of the Midwest with some areas getting over a foot of snow.

Many school districts were on spring break, but the largest district, Columbus City Schools, did not close or delay school.

Many others, who are on spring break and didn't go somewhere warm, were not happy about the snow.

This was a record for the amount of snow on this day.

The average high for today is 55.  The forecasted high is only 36.

Roads were slushy and ODOT crews remained on duty all night and into the morning rush hour Monday to make sure the freeways were passable.
