Suspect in Court: Large Fight & Stabbing

UPDATE: Dashaun Smith faced a judge today after police say he stabbed a man several times while fighting over the victim's girlfriend.
Smith appeared in a neck brace because the victim's brother hit Smith with a 2x4.
Bond was set at $15,000.

COLUMBUS -- One person is in court after a stabbing Monday night.
Dashaun Smith, 22, is charged with felonious assault after he got into a fight with 36-year-old David Myers.
It started when the two men started fighting outside 2074 Stringmont Avenue.
It escalated, and police say Smith pulled out a knife and stabbed Myers several times.
When officers arrived there was a large group of people fighting outside, and several got hurt.
Smith and Myers were injured in the fight and taken to Mt. Carmel West Hospital in serious condition. They were upgraded to stable condition.
