Franklinton -- Columbus Police continue to investigate the attack of a teenager who was
minding his own business, waiting for a ride in the lobby of the Franklinton
Branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library.
A group of teens came through the doors of the lobby and
the fifth teen inside attack the victim.
The library's surveillance cameras captured the attack
and the library staff is helping the police try to identify them.
According to Gregg Dodd, the Director of Marketing, he
says, "We shared the video with all
of the branch libraries. While the teens
are not regulars at the Franklinton branch, they were recognized as customers
at another branch ."
Since the attack, the library has increased its security
staffing.
