WASTE WATCH -- $100,000 - that's the amount of money taxpayers have spent in public assistance to support the accused Boston bombers and their parents.
The Boston Herald revealed these new details: Benefits for the Tsarnaev brothers and their parents included cash, food stamps, and Section 8 housing over a decade from 2002 and 2012.
The new details are part of 500 documents handed over to a Massachusetts state committee investigating the amount of benefits the Tsarnaev family received.
It's not clear whether any taxpayer dollars helped support the actual bombing.
