Former Otterbein golfer passes on 9 to 5 to pursue caddying


DUBLIN, OH -- Taylor Ford was part of three straight conference golf titles at Otterbein University.

So we shouldn't be shocked when he passed on an internet marketing gig after college when he got a call to caddy in the U.S. Women's Amatuer. From there, the 27-year old Westerville Central grad made his way through the amateur ranks to the LPGA to the tour and now the PGA Tour, first with Justin Leonard.

When Leonard retired, veteran pro Stewart Cink hired Ford to be his caddy. "I sort of took him in like a stray cat," Cink told ABC-6 Thursday.
