B1G Tournament: Ohio State Men's Basketball takes on Penn State in New York City

The Ohio State Men's Basketball team is in New York City for the Big Ten Tournament.

The Buckeyes are a 2 seed and will take on the 7 seed Penn State Nittany Lions Friday night. This will be the third time this season that the two teams have played.

Ohio State comes into the game with an overall record of 24-7, and a Big Ten regular season record of 15-3. Two of the Buckeyes' Big Ten losses were to Penn State Nittany Lions.

Penn State enters the game with an overall record of 20-12.

The game is being played at Madison Square Garden and will be televised on Big Ten Network at 6:30 pm.

The winner of the Ohio State/Penn State matchup will take on either the winner of the game between 14 seed Rutgers or the 3 seed Purdue. That game will be played on Saturday.

This is the first time the Big Ten Tournament is being held in New York City. The tournament has been played since 1998 and has seen four different locations as host.

Ohio State has not won the tournament since 2013.
