Kelsey Mitchell drafted by the Indiana Fever No. 2 overall
With the second pick in the 2018 WNBA Draft, the Indiana Fever selected guard Kelsey Mitchell from The Ohio State University.
Mitchell leaves her impact on Ohio State. She is the Buckeyes' all-time leading scorer with 3,402 points.
She is second in NCAA all-time leading scoring, and only four-time All American in Ohio State program history.
Additionally, Mitchell won the Big Ten Player of the Year award three times during her Ohio State career.
Mitchell is the first Ohio State player to be drafted in the first round since 2013, when the Washington Mystics drafted Tayler Hill fourth overall.
