Ohio State's first four-time All-American, Kelsey Mitchell, has added another award to her resume.

Thursday night, she was honored as the 2018 Dawn Stayley Award winner.

The Dawn Staley Award is given to the most outstanding collegiate guard in the country. Ohio State added:

The award is given to the player who exemplifies the skills that Dawn possessed during her career -- ball handling, scoring, her ability to distribute the basketball and her will to win.

Mitchell joins a list of previous winners that include first-round WNBA draft picks: Skylar Diggins (2013), Odyssey Sims (2014), Tiffany Mitchell (2015), Moriah Jefferson (2016,) and Kelsey Plum (2017).

This season Mitchell was third in the country in scoring at 24.3 points per game. She also won her third Big Ten Player of the Year award.

Mitchell finishes her Ohio State career as the NCAA's second all-time leading scorer with 3,402 points.

The other Dawn Staley award finalists were Asia Durr (Louisville), Victoria Vivians (Mississippi State), and Kia Nurse (Connecticut).

In total, Mitchell owns 30 Ohio State, Big Ten or NCAA records.
