NCAA Tournament: Ohio State women defeat George Washington 87-45

Ohio State Women's Basketball kicked off the opening round of the NCAA Tournament with a win over George Washington 87-45.

The Buckeyes were in control most of the game. Forward Stephanie Mavunga led the team with a double-double, her 11th of the season. Mavunga had 22 points and 13 rebounds.

Three-time Big Ten Player of the Year, Kelsey Mitchell, had 10 points, 6 rebounds, and four assists.

The win advances the Buckeyes to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

The 3 seed Buckeyes will face 11 seed Central Michigan on Monday at St. John Arena.
