J.T. Barrett to appear on ESPN's QB2QB with Russell Wilson
COLUMBUS, Ohio —
The most prolific Buckeyes quarterback will appear on a new ESPN show this spring.
ESPN announced Wednesday that Barrett would appear on re-branded QB2QB along with other draft prospects.
The show was previously called "Gruden's QB Camp." Since Jon Gruden left ESPN to become the head coach of the Oakland Raiders, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson will take over hosting duties of the ESPN show.
Other NFL prospects that will appear on the show include quarterbacks Oklahoma' Baker Mayfield, Oklahoma State's Mason Rudolph, and Penn State running Back Saquon Barkley. Barkley's episode will be different than the other guests, as it will be titled "QB2RB."
Now, I'm excited to have the opportunity to meet Baker, Saquon, Mason and J.T. to try to help them get ready for the next level as part of ESPN's QB2QB. At the same time, I look forward to feeding off their energy and excitement as I prepare myself for the new experiences that await me this season.
ESPN says QB2QB will air on April 17, with Barrett, Mayfield, and Rudolph. QB2RB with Barkley will also air on April 17.
Former Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones was on Gruden's QB camp in 2016.
