The Football Fever: Blue Smith commits, Wilson preps for Indiana return
COLUMBUS -- Kentucky made a strong push but in the end, Huber Heights Wayne receiver Blue Smith picked the Bucks over the Wildcats on Sunday before his season opening game.
“I just felt like it was home. When I was at the camp (in June) it was the place to be," Smith told Midwest recruiting expert Bill Kurelic. "I felt comfortable in my decision and the opportunity they give players outside of football after they leave college."
Smith is a four-star rangy receiver considered a top 150 nationally.
Meanwhile, new Ohio State offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson braces for his return to Bloomington Thursday for the season opener. Wilson jumps happenes to be the former Indiana head coach and made the move to Columbus in the off-season.
