TFF: 3 OSU DB's projected as 1st round picks expect OSU to reload
INDIANAPOLIS (WSYX/WTTE) -- Three of the four starters in the defensive backfield from Ohio State's 11-2 season don't expect any drop off from a Buckeyes in 2017, either in the secondary or as a whole.
Safety Malik Hooker and cornerbacks Marshon Lattimore and Gareon Conley are part of the latest exodus of underclassmen to declare early for the NFL Draft.
While all three will leave a gaping void in terms of talent and experience, they can speak of the excellence they maintained in 2016 as a group that helped replace 16 starters after 2015, citing the mental preparation they received in their development and the level of greatness expected from the entire program.
All three will be back in Columbus on March 23 for Ohio State's Pro Day.
