Owner Plans to Rebuild Delaware Co. RV Dealership After Fire
BERLIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (Ken Hines) -- The co-owner of a Delaware County RV dealership plans to rebuild after a massive fire left his business in ruins Thursday night.
Sixteen fire department were required to extinguish the three-alarm blaze that started at approximately 8:30 p.m. at RCD RV Supercenter in Berlin Township, near Sunbury.
Ohio State Fire Marshall Larry Flowers visited the dealership on Friday to assist local investigators with interviews of witnesses and employees.
Co-owner Brad Haire plans to reopen the family-owned business, but will wait to begin the rebuilding process until the fire's cause is determined by investigators.
"[We will] just take it one day at a time and let the experts determine what caused the fire, and then get a contractor in here," Haire said.
The fire does not appear to have been set intentionally, according to Berlin Township Fire Chief William Bechstein.
