TUESDAY: Bone Marrow Recipient

BE THE MATCH (Kellie Hanna) -- Emily Reincheld joins Tara Morgan in the studio to talk about "Be the Match Walk and Run."

This is an annual event to build the bone marrow registry to get people signed up.

Emily Reincheld had a bone marrow failure disorder and was getting blood transfusions every two weeks.

After going to her three sisters, they realized they matched each other but not to Emily.

She reached out to the registry, but no one was a match on it either at first.

Finally, there was a match, and Emily got new bone marrow which made her healthy again.

Emily and her 100 plus team will be participating in the "Be the Match Walk and Run" which is Saturday at Bicentennial Park downtown Columbus.
